i had dinner with erin at panera in winter park. i didn't realize it moved two years ago! i love the new-to-me location right in the middle of all the action on park ave. erin and i ate a good meal and had a nice 3 hour long heart to heart about everything in our lives. once i got home i was able to catch the last period of the pens vs. flyers playoff game. pens pulled it out again! my man fleury was seriously on fire. sizzle. sizzle! so now the series is 3-2 flyers.

once i got back, dustin and i went out to do some grocery shopping and get my hair cut. and by cut i mean TRIMMED. i really would have liked to tell the girl to cut some new cute style but i was strong and asked for half an inch off the entire thing. no bangs. no layers. no fun. she did commend me on trimming it every few months. she said it grows better that way. apparently if you just keep growing and growing it the split ends just grow out and not down. plus it looks shitty. split ends are gross.
the rest of the day was spent on pottermore. it's finally open to the public! it's so much more than i thought it would be. you travel through each chapter of the book and there are little refreshers about what happened, info about the characters, etc. also, J.K. Rowling writes even more info about how she came up with certain names and character back stories. for example, i really enjoyed reading about professor mcgonagall's childhood history and family life. BUT it's also interactive. i got to buy all of my school supplies and ollivander helped me find a wand. i even got sorted - into hufflepuff! i was kind of shocked by this but whatever i'm embracing it. go badgers! i learned a potion for boils and i've won 22 points for my house so far.

the rest of the evening was spent catching up on parks & rec and revenge. oh and i started watching true blood. obviously i've heard from everyone it's a good show but i was never interested. just didn't care. but now that we have HBO (because dustin and i are obsessed with game of thrones!) i can watch any HBO show for free. so i figured why the hell not? i'm two episodes into the first season so far and it's pretty good. i'm not crazy obsessed yet but maybe that will come in time. or not. whatever. so far i'm entertained so that's a start. i also started watching the new show GIRLS on HBO. loving it's humor.
