Watching: Boy Meets World. Dustin bought me the entire 7 season series as a birthday present. And we've been watching several episodes a night ever since it came in the mail. We are already halfway through season three. It's so good! There are about a million inconsistencies which would typically annoy me but Dustin and I just make fun of it. For example, the door next to the phone booth in the hallway is something different every episode. Sometimes it's a boys bathroom and others it's Feeny's Office. Also Morgan wasn't even mentioned for the first 15 or so episodes of season 3 which was due to them changing out the actress. When they introduced the new Morgan the writers took a jab at it which was great.
Fifty Shades of Grey. The first night at Erin's house we were looking for movies on her TV when we came across this one. We both looked at each other and shrugged. We were both curious because we're human and also it's gotten so much publicity. I wasn't the biggest fan of the actress who played Anna. For one, I don't think she can act. However, I loved Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey! And surprisingly we both actually liked the movie. I hated that it didn't have any real ending though. And since I want to know how it ends, I'm considering reading the books. I KNOW I KNOW. Who am I? Ugh.
Age of Adaline. A couple of my friends mentioned wanting to see this movie so I immediately watched the trailer and I, too, wanted to see it right away. Dustin had agreed to take me for my birthday but Erin offered to take me while I was in Texas even though she had already seen it. Well that was a win for me, Erin, and Dustin! But it is THAT good. It's worthy of many screenings. The story is just so intriguing and Blake is lovely. And that hair/wardrobe! OMG. If I could wear only the clothes she wore in that movie for the rest of my life, I would! NYE Dress. Wedding Dress. Casual work clothes. Turtle neck.
Wild. On my final night in Texas Erin and I stopped by the Red Box (my first time!) outside of CVS. We ended up going with Wild. I wasn't dying to see this one but it had been getting a lot of hype. I'd say it lived up to it. I don't know what I was expecting but I got something better. I loved watching Cheryl's journey hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. I wish I had read the book first!
Reading: Well I'm currently reading The Bell Jar for the first time! This was another present from Dustin. I have been looking/waiting for it to come to Kindle but not sure that it ever will so Dustin bought me the actual book. I'm not very far yet but so far so good. I also just finished Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda and I loved it to the moon and back. It's basically like You've Got Mail with gay teenagers. Such a great story!
Listening to: Kina Grannis. Erin's been telling me to check her out for probably a year or so. I mean it's not that I was deliberately not taking her recommendation to heart but I just kept forgetting to really sit down and give her a listen. But while in Texas she came on in Erin's car multiple times and I made a note in my phone to finally give her a try. And what do you know, I love her!

Feeling: Lucky. Nothing extraordinary is happening in my life right now. Everything is just good. But I often forget to appreciate those good moments when I'm in them. Life is good right this very second for no reason at all and I just want to recognize it.
