Partyin' Like It's 1999

Last weekend I spent my Saturday night jamming to Gangsta's Paradise while sucking on a ring pop and my wrists were adorned with slap bracelets and a scrunchie. My 10 year old self would be very proud. Gaya's party was so much fun. She decorated her house perfectly and had little touches like slinkies and 90s photo props. She even created a new drink called "The Gaya" and even made me a virgin version of it. I loved seeing what people had on as they arrived. There was a D.A.R.E. shirt, two Blockbusters shirts (Be Kind REWIND!), a couple track suits, lots of denim, there was a Sublime to my Nirvana, and even a Clueless inspired look. Everyone looked phenomenal! It was so fun to not only celebrate Gaya but also relive the best decade there ever was.
