Oscar Fashion

Funny story. So I watched the Red Carpet. I watched ALL of the Oscars except for the last 30 min. You know, the most interesting time to tune in. Yeah, I missed it because I was passed out. I missed seeing Leo win his naked gold man live but thanks to the internet I was able to catch his speech and Kate Winslet's reaction. So sweet! I'm an old lady what can I say! Here are my favorite dresses as per usual.

Jennifer always looks stunning. I love this dress. I feel like she really stepped out of the box with this one but it totally works.

I absolutely love the deep v and the straps on this dress. The color is also just so perfect against Charlize's skin tone.

Doesn't Cate look like the the Queen of Spring? Typically I wouldn't like a dress like this but it's gorgeous, especially so on her. She looks like a glamorous fairy minus the wings. And I mean that as a total compliment.

This was Erin's favorite dress and it's definitely up there for me too. That "belt" is gorgeous. I love how it separates the smooth top half with the frilly bottom. Perfect!

You have really got to have just the right body and look to pull this off and Rooney Mara totally does. I love the little diamond cut out. The whole design is just incredibly different and yet still elegant. Also I love her Rey hairstyle

My girl! Of course I'm totally bias when it comes to Olivia Munn but I really do love her look. The dress is so simple but that little drape over one shoulder spices it up. Also I love the orange! Get it girl!

This was my absolute favorite dress. I love a roman inspired dress but this one is just perfect. The front is obviously sexy but so it the back detail. Olivia looks like an angel.

Ashley Graham is my new favorite model (and first "plus-size" whatever the hell that means model to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated). Not this dress is a little on the, shall we say wacky side, but she pulls it off in an amazingly sexy way. She needs to model for Victoria Secret. Work it!

Saoirse looks beautiful in sparkling emerald green. Her skin and hair are flawless. She and Scarlett Johannsen should go into audio books because I could listen to them speak forever. Ha!

All of these dresses are a big, giant, scoop of NOPE!

Oscars

Lupita Nyong'o

Lupita is everyone's new girl crush including mine and I haven't even seen 12 Years A Slave yet. She's beautiful and eloquent. Her dress (and headband) are perfection and so was her acceptance speech.

Emma Watson

Emma always looks stunning! I love her dress to her hair to her makeup. Talk about a person/celebrity that gets better with age! Also, how cute is she with Joseph Gordon Levitt?!

Anna Kendrick

I really love how this dress has so many different elements. Sure it's elegant but it's also kind of funky which I think is the best part. Get it girl!

Amy Adams

I love the simplicity and sleekness of this dress. Plus the color compliments her red hair and skin tone perfectly. It's such a classic look.

And as far as the guys go, Cumberbatch always looks great, Hemsworth's purplish jacket is pretty cool, and of course Gordon-Levitt who is always stylish in his super fitted suits.

The Oscars this year were just bad. I love Ellen. I mean, I even DVR her show daily. I was expecting her to be awesome but she wasn't. Her jokes were blah and it just seemed like no one really cared. Bring back Seth MacFarlane! The most interesting parts of the show were when Ellen brought out pizza and all the celebs actually started eating it and paying for the tip. Also, the below photo is probably the coolest selfie ever.

Dustin and I entered Real Radio's Oscarpalooza where you pick who you think is going to win for each category in the hopes of winning a free cruise. We got 9/12! So yeah, no cruise but it was fun checking them off and high fiving the ones we got right as we watched. The one that really threw me for a loop was Cate Blanchett. I did not see that win coming at all!

And this was very sweet. Bill Murray and Harold Ramis!
