Earlier today I drove up to Palm Coast to celebrate little miss Addilyn. Today is her actual birthday and it's unbelievable that she's two. I was actually telling Rachelle earlier this week that it seems like she's been here longer. Like she should be 5 or something. I'm not trying to rush it at all because she grows like a weed and is so different every time I see her but it just feels like she's always been around.
She carried around her animal decor around while socializing. First it was the brontosaurus and then she ended up with the tiger. She'd have him climb things and then go "RAWR!". She's the cutest. She had no interest in the bounce house (at least during the time I was there). I noticed she doesn't have interest in large groups. She enjoyed herself with everyone but it was definitely more on a one on one basis. I wonder if she'll be an introvert or if it's just her toddler stage.
Matt and Rachelle hit it out of the park once again. They rocked last year's Dr. Seuss themed party and this year's party animal theme was just as good. They had all kinds of animals with the cutest little party hats on. Even the bounce house was in the shape of a tiger. The food was also great (even those weird fruit wraps that Matt was too scared to try). Ha! They know how to throw a party.
It was good seeing Matt and Rachelle's family and friends again especially Shelbi, Bobbie, Shannon, and Danielle. It was a warm day but the breeze definitely made it suprisingly comfortable. It was a perfect day (minus the holiday traffic I endured).
Happy birthday sweet girl.
