What I Wore #52

I talked briefly about this 90's masterpiece of an outfit in my 90's post but I wanted it to have it's own 'What I Wore' post too. 

I found that black dress for $7! I already owned the white shirt which made things even easier. The flannel was found at Goodwill for only $2! I think the accessories (clips and choker) were my most expensive pieces. My most hated thing about my ensemble was the brown lipstick. I hated it then and I hate it now. It just doesn't work on anyone. I forgot how awesome those tacky clips are. They aren't cute but they sure as hell hold hair back better than a bobby pin. I got the most compliments on the choker which is something I was totally down to wear in the 90's but I'm not jumping on that train that's bringing them back. They just look extremely juvenile to me. Like only 10 year olds should be wearing them. I was super proud of how everything came together!I really felt like I had walked right out of the 90's. I just needed my Trapper Keeper and a photo of JTT in my room.
