GoT was right. Winter is coming. (Except maybe in Florida.) But more importantly Christmas is coming. I love this time of year so much. I mean, who doesn't right? There's so many things that make me feel all warm and fuzzy.
Putting up the Christmas tree, the bell ringing outside of grocery stores, the cooler weather - perfect for snuggling in snuggies, all the snail mail from online shopping and Christmas cards from friends/family, the twinkling of lights inside and out, wrapping presents and putting cute nicknames on each one, the smell of pine, the crackling of a bonfire, more opportunities to wear those boots, the snow (even us Floridians enjoy it from afar thanks to Instagram), all the movies (Home Alone, The Santa Clause, The Family Stone, Christmas Vacation, Love Actually, etc.!!), ugly sweaters, so many days off of work, the annoying yet enjoyable Christmas music (I prefer the more rockin'/emo stuff like NFG's 'Ex-Miss'), opening presents, seeing someone's reaction while they open THEIR presents, matching pajamas, poinsettias, stockings filled with chocolate, pretty much everyone in a constant good mood (except for the occasional scrooge), laughing so hard from falling on your ass while trying to ice skate, giving to those in need, the holiday Coca-Cola commercials, Whitman's sampler, spending time with loved ones.
