If you could get one more season of a TV show that's no longer airing, which show would it be?
Just one?! I've got a whole list. Freaks and Geeks. My So-Called Life. 1899. The OA. Glow.
What are your favorite words?
Hiraeth, happenstance, bonkers, yesteryear
What were some of your favorite books as a child? Why were they special?
The Berenstain Bears, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Corduroy, The Giving Tree, Little Critter Series. I really gravitated toward animals or non-human characters as a kid.
What are your favorite smells?
The smell before rain, baking banana bread, a new book, my cat's little head, a sharpie, coffee
Weird ways I have spent my time.
I used to love Yahoo Answers. I would spend way too much time answering all the ones I could. I still enjoy Ranker from time to time because voting on dumb shit is fun.
How have your tastes changed over the years?
I like food with spices and flavor now. That is a little tongue in cheek because Dustin said I grew up on the most bland food. I mean I still can't do spicy but spices are cool.
Did you have your own bedroom growing up or did you have to share with a sibling(s)? Describe it.
My own room because I'm my mom's only child. As you open the front door to that 1920s bungalow, you'd walk straight to a very dark, all wooden hallway. My room was the first on the left. Turn the glass doorknob and directly to your left was my desk. Above my desk were two large protruding built in bookshelves that stored everything from actual books to stuffed animals to a light bar. Beside the desk was my mother's childhood dresser. Back then it was white but these days it's coral. I think it's the only piece of furniture from that room I still have. My bed was in the corner next to the old ass windows directly across from the desk, shelves, and dresser. I remember the original hardwood that my mom was all too excited to carpet over. Outside the window you could see the carport and what little side yard there was. There was a small closet in the corner that I was too scared to ever open my entire life. It stored things I no longer needed like my old hoop dress from my 1989 flower girl gig. Even when we moved out in 2003 (my senior year) I didn't want to go in that damn closet. I couldn't put my finger on it but it just always made me uncomfy.
What is the dumbest story of yourself.
Truly so many where do I start? How about the time I asked for a steak burger while at the Taco Bell drive-thru and the incredibly confused person said to me "Ma'am you're at Taco Bell." To be fair, Steak-N-Shake was at least next door.
You are transported into the last movie you saw. How screwed are you?
Well, considering it was Anora, I'd say very.
What would an epic game of hide-and-seek look like?
Adults-only on a farm in the fall. The air is crisp and the flannel aplenty. We're all hiding in the most ridiculous places shooing away dogs that are about to blow our cover. Knees are cracking as we bend down. The seeker trips and the rest of us just bust out laughing and then they spot a few of us so we run for a better hiding spot.
