40 in 40 - Day 34 / Same at the Core

The more things change the more they stay the same. There are so many versions of ourselves we experience over a lifetime, well, if you're lucky enough to keep evolving. But there will always be those intrinsic quality or passions that stay with us forever. I've been thinking about what those are for me and, you guessed it, I made a list.  

I still prefer to sit with my legs crossed. 

I still watch Felicity. 

I still prefer glasses to contacts. (But at least I can get contacts in my eyeballs now!)

I still love snail mail. 

I still have to have ME time. 

I still don't like tea. Sorry grandma!

I still struggle with depression.

I still laugh at everything. 

I still wear my nails short. 

I still scratch the thread of seams as a form of comfort. 

I still love documenting my existence and those around me. 

I still choose practicality/comfort over everything else.
