Watching: I'm so glad that almost all of our shows are BACK! (The Office, Parks & Rec, Fringe, & Hart of Dixie. Still waiting on The Vampire Diaries and The Walking Dead) So we've obviously been keeping up with these but on top of all of that we started watching Boardwalk Empire. All of our HBO shows have been over and we even thought about canceling it until they came back BUT since there are so many older shows we have never seen,  (thanks to HBOGO) we are able to watch all of them. I knew from the minute I saw the first trailer for Boardwalk Empire, years ago, I would love it. Any movie/tv show set in a different time, whether it be past or present, is always more appealing to me for some reason. It's one of those big cast shows where there is a little bit of something for everyone. Dustin and I started it a few days ago and we are only 3 episodes in but we are most certainly hooked. I'm hoping to spend the weekend couch potato-ing it up with Nucky.

Listening to: T-Swift. She's been releasing a new single every Tuesday until her new album comes out in a few weeks. I'm really loving 'Begin Again'! I haven't given 'Red' a proper listen yet.

Anticipating: Pittsburgh in THREE WEEKS! I mean that goes without saying. But I am really looking forward to Halloween festivities. I can't wait to carve pumpkins with Dustin like we do every year. Also, my department at work has a whole costume theme this year. I'm super excited because I think it's really creative and will turn out so cute. I will probably be dying of laughter the entire day.

Thinking: The wind is still warm but I feel change in the air. I feel like things are shifting. I mean, they are always shifting, really, but I feel like even more so lately. It's kind of hard for me to explain. I'm a creature of habit. Routine. I don't mind change if it's gradual - usually. I think it's all apart of living though. Just when you get used to one thing, it changes and you have to just get over it. I'll get over it.

This quote was posted by HBO on Instagram and it really just says it best:

"After all, seasons change. So do cities. People come into your life and people go. But it's comforting to know the ones you love are always in your heart." - Carrie (Sex and the City)

Making me happy: Pumpkin everything. Pumpkin donuts, bread, bagels, drinks! I don't want it to end. Ever!

Hoping: That the NHL lockout ends very very soon. This is so ridiculous. This trip to Pittsburgh started with a hockey game. Dustin and I haven't been to the new Consol Energy Center and we wanted to spend time with the Buds (and Dustin's family AND of course the city) but initially this started with wanting to see the Pens play at home. Then we found out the Steelers had a home game the same weekend and it was just meant to be. But with the lockout we may not get to see the Pens play which is really upsetting. Sure, we will see them when they come to Tampa but home games are so much different. After this trip to Pittsburgh, we don't plan on going back for awhile. We want to explore other parts of the U.S. together. So I feel like this is our one shot to get it all in. I know we'll be back some day but that could be a long way off. We have talked and we of course aren't going to let it ruin our trip by any means. Dustin sent me this via iMessage today.

The game we are planning to go to is on October 25th. So if the NHL can come to some sort of agreement in the next couple weeks, the first game of the season will be the one we have been planning to go to for the past 6 months. My fingers are crossed. Plan B is taking a tour of the arena and stalking some of the Pens players.

Obsessing over: My mustard yellow cardigan. There's kind of a story behind it... About a month or so ago I was in Target with Sam, Pat and Dustin and Sam and I both fell in love with all the sweaters and cardigans. We both eyed the mustard one. I looked at the price and was all "$20?! Ugh." I'm so cheap with clothes. I hate buying anything at full price unless they are tennis shoes or jeans. So I put it back. But for the following week I couldn't get it out of my head. How annoying! At the same time I was on the hunt for mustard pants (jeans or corduroy) but every pair I tried on made me look awful. They just weren't for me. So I thought since I'm not getting mustard pants I'm going to go back and get that mustard cardigan. So I did. I've been obsessed with the damn thing ever since. I wear it almost every day to work. I basically can make it go with just about every article of clothing I own - from business profesh to comfy sweats and an old Steelers shirt.
