Currently

Loving: Clear - a new shampoo. I was using Herbal Essence but it started to leave such a residue in my hair that I needed something else. Ideally, I'd like to get BioLage or All Soft by Redken but I can never justify spending that much just on hair products. Erin suggested Clear. I had never even heard of it but what the hell. I decided to give it a shot. Turns out, Clear is amazing and won't break the bank. Winning! It leaves my hair feeling soft and light. Also, my 'dirty days' don't even look all that dirty.

Panicking: I feel as if I have a million things to do and prepare for before our trip, yet I am sitting at my computer right this very moment...blogging and listening to music. Womp womp womp. I have a big to-do list that I will have to squeeze it into this weekend. Two days to get it all done. Things like clean Bane's tank, clean the entire house (I hate leaving the house a mess to begin with but it's more about coming HOME to a clean house), pay bills, finish packing, getting all my electronics in order (flip, camera, iPhone), buying last minute things, blah blah.

Annoyed by: I've had a headache for the last 3 or 4 days. I don't even know how long it's been because my head is just blurred. I can't tell if it's a side effect of my monthly visitor, my new prescription lenses, or just tension. It's just bad and it's making me a grump.

Watching: I've started watching Sex and the City on HBOGO. (That HBOGO is the bomb diggity. All TV stations should have something similar!) I was never one of those girls that watched or was even interested in Sex and the City. Also, I didn't have HBO either. I just never cared about it either way. Then one Sunday, a few months back, I was feeling extra bummy and started flipping throgh channel after channel when I came across the first Sex and the City movie. I thought it would be one of those things I watch for a few minutes and then continue on. But it wasn't. I was hooked. I watched the entire thing and I'm not ashamed to say that I enjoyed it. After that, I didn't think much more about it but then when I realized I could watch it from the beginning, I just went for it. I watch an episode on my phone in bed (fucking iPhone is my BFF) or an episode on my computer while I eat breakfast. I'm a few episodes into season 2 and pretty into it. Carrie is definitely my fave.

Thinking: It's funny how much can change in a year. This time last year was worlds different from the here and now. I'm mostly referring to people and relationships.  These days we haven't spoke in 6 months. We don't even live in the same state anymore. So much was said. So much wasn't. There were lots of hurt feelings and some things I'll remember forever. We are living two completely separate yet connected lives and it's been a weird transition - both easy and tough all at the same time. I'm slowly coming to terms with things. I'm keeping my heart locked up in a cage, like a bird. But the bird is so beaten up she doesn't even try to break free. And only a select few have the key. I'll cherish the memories always. But things just can't go back. It's too much.
