Today I had a bad experience with a lunchable. I have seriously had maybe a handful of lunchables since I was a kid so on the rare occasion I pick one up I get really excited. Well, my excitement was short lived. Below is the letter I hand wrote and mailed to Kraft. Yes, I really did that. I'm sure I could have found an email address but real letters are more personal.
Dear Kraft,
This morning my husband and I went grocery shopping. I picked up my first lunchable in years. I used to eat them daily while growing up in the 1990s. I bought the turkey, American cheese, crackers, & two Oreo lunch able partly for nostalgia and partly because it seemed like the perfect lunch. After I put away the groceries, I grabbed the lunchable and sat down to enjoy it. I was shocked and horrified to have found slimy turkey that looked as if something was trying to grow on it. My turkey was basically foaming at the mouth. I checked the expiration date and it was supposedly good for another month. I refused to eat it because I was certain I would become sick. This is unacceptable. My lunch was ruined and all nostalgia went out the window only to be replaced with annoyance. I guess some things are meant to stay in the past.
You Unsatisfied Customer,
Ashley
P.S. I will be posting this letter on my blog.
