Feeling: Thankful. Duh! I mean, as cliche as it sounds Thanksgiving is the time of year where I'm just extra thankful for all that is good in my life. I'm thankful throughout the year of course, but there's just something about the holidays that bring that feeling to the forefront of my mind.

Excited for: The 4 day weekend! YAS! It has been a very busy few months both at work and in my personal life. Dustin and I purposely made no plans so we could just hang at home and relax. We were invited to my family's for Thanksgiving which I honestly would have loved to go to but we decided to decline just to catch our breath and unwind a bit. Also, I have driven so much lately that I'm so over it. I've been to Ormond I don't know how many times. To Palm Coast. To Tampa twice. All of those trips were worth it but it just gets exhausting. We plan to stay in PJs, watch all the TV/movies, play all the video games, and just be together. Oh and we are going to take our Christmas photo. It's going to be a good one, let me tell you!

Watching:

Jessica Jones - Dustin and I are up to episode 9 and it just came out last Friday. We are loving it just as much as we loved Daredevil. They both are similar in that they have a darker vibe. I absolutely love (but really hate) the villains too. They just somehow seem 10x worse then those super big bad guys in all of the big Marvel movies. It's probably because they are more realistic. David Tennant is killing it! Literally. Ha! But seriously he does bad very well. Kristen Ritter is also great. I really love that she's this badass woman superhero who isn't like any other. She's got flaws. Tons of them. But she's good; she cares. I like that her go to outfit is boots, jeans, and a jacket. I appreciate superheroes, especially females, in all forms and although the spandex is fine, it's just nice to see a female hero kick ass without her cleavage being the main attraction. I cannot wait to see how the first season wraps up!

Twinsters - I first heard about this documentary earlier this year when it was playing at the Enzian. I didn't get to make it to the theater then but thankfully Netflix has it available now! I watched it a week or two ago and it's just such a intriguing and heartwarming story of two girls who live on opposite sides of the globe who look identical. I just felt like I was going on this journey with them of finding out if they are truly twins. It's things like this that make me so so grateful for technology! It's a feel-good story, if you're into that kind of thing (which I totally am!).

Star Wars - Dustin and I thought it would be fun to watch all of the old Star Wars movies in order before The Force Awakens comes out. Now I need to preface this by saying I have always liked Star Wars but I've never been a crazy super fan. I watched all of the films when I was in high school and enjoyed them but that's pretty much where it ended for me. Dustin on the other hand is a big fan. I remember walking into his bedroom at his mom's house for the first time and one of the first things I noticed was his little Yoda on his TV stand. We still have that same Yoda on display. Last year for Christmas I bought him the entire BluRay 6 movie box set. So far we have re-watched The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones. I feel like I never appreciated these films the way I should have when I was younger. I'm pretty disappointed in myself but what are you going to do? Thoughts so far include: Anakin is pretty whiny, Jar Jar isn't nearly as bad as everyone says he is, Padme is badass, Yoda is even more badass (he was always my favorite), I can't stop saying 'Tattooine', and I want a lightsaber. We plan to watch the next two over the Thanksgiving break.

Listening to: Maria Mena's "I Don't Wanna See You With Her" - I'm so excited that Maria is coming out with a new CD next week because I think I've played her single a bazillion times. I've already got that shit pre-ordered so it'll be in my iTunes library when I wake up 12/4. Technology is something, isn't it?
