Matt and Rachelle came to visit us Saturday all the way from PC. It was the first time they had come over since they were so kind to help us move back in February. The first thing on our to-do list was to check out as many saltwater fish stores as humanly possible - for Matt. We made it to 3! They all kind of smelled but I guess that is to be expected when dealing with fish. I know absolutely nothing about what it takes to get a saltwater tank up and running but I did enjoy looking at all the cool fish and coral (except that one coral that looked like it could have been an STD). Saltwater stuff is really interesting AND super expensive.
In his element.
After the fish adventure, I was getting really hungry. We finally made it to TGIFridays before heading off to IKEA. Dustin kept hiding in corners and scaring us or just lounged around with Matt on various chairs while Rachelle and I moved on to look at cooler things. Dustin and I picked out a bed and mattress that we want eventually. Soon I hope! I got a couple of bowls and some picture frames and was pretty happy about it.
So we headed back home (or so Matt thought). Little did he know we were all scheming to take him to get some cheesecake at the only place you should be getting cheesecake - The Cheesecake Factory. Apparently, he saw the video I posted of us enjoying Miranda's cheesecake last weekend and mentioned to Rachelle how much he would love to go there. Well, wish granted. We all enjoyed our dessert but I have to say I am so cheesecaked out at this point. We came back to our place and hung out for a bit watching football until it was time for them to make the hour trip back up the coast.
It's so nice to have visitors! We have already started planning for their next Orlando trip.

Oh and check out my very first (somewhat successful) fishtail braid attempt below. I was very proud of myself.
