last few days

this past week has flown by.
hope the weekend doesn't!

had a mini cold. thankfully it never was full blown sickness. stuffy-nose. scratchy throat. sneezing. exhaustion. nothing i can't handle. plus it only lasted a few days. no BD.

got to hang out with a dear friend of mine on tuesday. we enjoyed a nice meal and lots of laughs. she also bought a 'brownie brick'. it was seriously impressive. and i adored petting her enormous (22lb) cat. he's always hiding when i come over. he truly is the biggest cat i've ever seen. she bought me flowers for no good reason too. aren't they beautiful and cheery? as you can see they are scattered all over our house.

i have one of those 'not for climbing' clips on my keys so i can always attach them to my jeans or purse. that way i would never lose them! well, the plan worked until yesterday. i came home for lunch like i do every day and i put my purse on the dining room table and my keys on the kitchen counter. guess who forgot to attach her keys to her purse?! guess who walked out of the house with her purse and no keys?! guess who locked herself out of her house and didn't have keys to drive back to work?! that's right - ME. such a little idiot move, right? luckily dustin was headed home for the day so i just sat in front of our door and waited for 15 min.
