Banana Bread via Jen Loves Kev
I found this recipe while catching up on a blog I read from time to time. I knew I wanted to try it out so I actually pinned it on Pinterest so I wouldn't forget about it. I find it works better than just bookmarking it.
I made a few minor changes.
-I added a bit more bananas than the recipe calls for.
-I didn't add apple sauce or chocolate chips because I didn't have any.
-I didn't use a loaf pan but made muffins instead (so I had to adjust the time accordingly).

Enjoy with a glass of butterbeer or if you're all out - apple juice. The next best thing.
I am a huge banana bread lover. I make my grandma's recipe all the time. Basically, anytime our bananas go bad. And every time I go to Starbucks I get a slice of their banana bread too.
What I liked about this particular recipe was the use of yogurt and cinnamon. I was excited how that would effect the taste and it's obviously healthier than butter. I didn't really notice the yogurt but the cinnamon added the perfect fall flavoring.
I put the muffins in for 30 min and then realized (after I cut into one) it needed more time. So I stuck them back in. After they cooled, I tried one with butter and although I enjoyed it, I wasn't in love. I guess to me, nothing beats my grandma's version. Dustin added icing to his and kept calling them cupcakes. I corrected him and then he'd call them cupcakes again so I gave up. I mean, it was kind of cute. Some things you just have to let go.
