Watching: Downton Abbey! The great thing about my Kindle (and receiving it early) is that it comes with a free month of Amazon Prime which means I can stream TV/movies for free and I can get free 2 day shipping off anything from Amazon. So the first thing I looked for was Downton Abbey. I have been dying to see it and when I saw they had it, I started watching it immediately (even though it was past midnight on Friday night). I finished the first season on Sunday afternoon and now I'm four episodes into the second season. It's just one of those shows I knew I would love before ever watching. It's got everything. A lovely mansion in England, a complicated family and it's servants, many historical events that took place in the early 1900s. I love it all so much. So so much. I mean if anyone knows me at all they know I love all things British.
One of many favorite quotes: John Bates: I miss a lot of things, but you have to keep moving, don't you.
Feeling: Super sick thanks to my uterus. It's like my ute has gone to war with the rest of my body. I've had to go to bed at 9PM every night this week from either a headache or ute pain. And this morning I ate breakfast and immediately felt like I was going to vomit. So annoying being a girl sometimes. Last night New Girl really described it all perfectly.
Looking forward to: Photoshoot! My boss and her family had some photos taken last weekend and when I saw them I just fell in love. They came out amazing. So I contacted the photographer last night and she was able to squeeze Dustin and I in this weekend. She will be taking our Christmas photo (with our costume and props - ha!) and some regular ones too. We haven't had professional photos taken since our wedding so we are long overdue. I can't wait!
Also, tonight I get to see Nicole! So we can talk about all things cool.
Listening to: Mostly T-Swift's new album. But Sam posted this on FB last night and I've had it playing in the background ever since. It's so pretty. I've also bought music from Downton Abbey on iTunes. Weird to some but the music is phenomenal. I've always like instrumental but I definitely lean more toward anything with piano.
Obsessed with: My Kindle. Obviously. I've been able to watch TV shows, log onto websites, and download books. I love the book feature for so many reasons. I love that you can bookmark a page with a simple tap, you can search for a word you may not know the meaning of by using the dictionary, and can highlight a quote you may want to remember or refer back to. It's genius.
Nervous about: Having to make food for our Thanksgiving Luncheon at work tomorrow. I've signed on to make Pumpkin Pie AND Green Bean Casserole. I'm pretty sure I'm in over my head. I definitely am. What if I just make the green bean casserole and BUY a pumpkin pie? Publix has a delicious bakery...
